The Government of Canada is committed to supporting Indigenous communities with provincial and territorial partners, in preparing for communicable disease emergencies, including COVID-19.

Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) is working closely with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), other federal departments, Indigenous leadership, and provincial/territorial counterparts to protect the health and safety of Indigenous people and to support First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities in responding to COVID-19, the novel coronavirus.
